CASE DISMISSED for Bus Driver Falsely Accused of Rape

A Homestead bus driver is accused of raping a 4-year-old boy on his bus.

[Our Client], 58, was arrested Monday, charged with sexual assault on a child under 12 by an adult. According to the arrest report, [Our Client] allegedly pulled his bus over Monday afternoon, pulled the little boy’s pants down, and raped him.

Miami-Dade Police Detective told HuffPost that [Our Client] is a private bus driver and police are unsure if he is self-employed or works for a company. The location of the assault was not disclosed.

At a court appearance Wednesday, Judge Mindy Glazer warned [Our Client] to stay away from the victim before ordering him held without bond.

“He’s a private school bus driver. Kids,” she said, wrestling with the decision before settling on keeping [Our Client] in a Miami-Dade jail. “These are allegations, though.”

CBSMiami reports [Our Client] wife said that Monday was the first day her husband, a father of three, had transported the boy, and denied that [Our Client] was capable of such an assault.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s online database, [Our Client] was not a registered sex offender.
